How do I get an insurance estimate?

What to expect when you call for an estimate

If you’d rather call than fill out a form online, here’s a summary of what you can expect to be asked.

1. A friendly member sales agent will answer your call.   Our agents can answer your questions about our AARP mobile home policy and the coverages it includes.
   
   
2. We’ll ask for some basic information to get started -- things like your name, mailing address, phone number and AARP membership number.
   
   
3. Next, we’ll ask about the home you want to insure.   Our sales agent will ask for the year, make, model, length and width, and the name of your park, if you live in one. If you’re a new home buyer, we’ll also need the purchase price of your home. If your home isn’t brand-new, our representative will also ask you a series of questions and may check some reference guides to help you determine the value of your home.
   
   
4. If your home is located somewhere other than your mailing address, we’ll need the home’s address.  If your home is in a park we may ask you some questions about the park. That’s to determine if you live in a Foremost-approved park. If you do, you may qualify for lower rates.
   
   
5. Now it’s time to discuss insurance.   It’s a good idea to have your current policy handy so you can review the coverages you have today and compare them with what the AARP Mobile Home Program policy offers you.
